Battery Life Comparison

For cell phone users the two most important factors related to battery life are Standby Time and Talk Time. Standby Time is the maximum length of time a fully charged cell phone is ready to send and receive calls or data transmissions. Talk Time is the maximum length of time a fully charged cell phone is able to make calls.

The following is a battery life comparison of all 4G LTE phones currently available.

Best Battery Life: By far, the longest battery life goes to the Droid RAZR MAXX. It has the longest Standby Time (380 Hrs) and the longest Talk Time (21.5 Hrs) of any other 4G LTE capable phone. The second longest Standby Time goes to the LG Spectrum (348 Hrs) and the second longest Talk Time goes to the Droid RAZR (12.5 Hrs).

Worst Battery Life: Overall the worst battery life goes to the LG Esteem. It only has 200 hours of Standby Time and 3.5 Hours of Talk Time. The LG Revolution has the shortest Standby Time (72 Hs) while the LG Nitro HD and Samsung Galaxy Indulge share the shortest Talk Time (3 Hrs).
